He Heard Every Thought I Had About His Body Chapter 07

By the time the reunion wrapped up, my face was still warm

Warren looked a little awkward too as he followed behind me

God, those pecs. That perfect curve. I just wanna sink

my teeth in. Chomp chomp chomp chomp

Wait. Was he hard just now

Warren suddenly cleared his throat

We should get going.”

Cora!Tara popped out of nowhere and gave my butt a loud smack

She grinned when my face turned even redder

Leaving already? Come grab a drink with us!”

I fought the urge to rub the sore spot

I shook my head

I’m tired.”

My butt. It’s been smacked clean in half

No, wait. Butts are already in two halves. Left and right

But what if they were top and bottom instead? Would

they make little poppop sounds every time walked

you

Warren shot a pointed glare at Tara’s hand

Then, without a word, he edged a little closer and quietly positioned himself behind me, shielding my back from view

When we got home, Rosa had prepared a latenight snack for us

It wasn’t even that late yet

I still ate it anyway

It was so good I completely forgot about Warren

By the time I went upstairs, he was already in the shower

I was putting away our clothes when I happened to

glance at the phone glowing on the nightstand

Since when did Warren start using font that huge? Was

his eyesight going

Before I even realized, I’d already finished the

message on the screen

It was from Cole

[A marriage without love never lasts.

[You’ve known Cora since you were kids, and she still

never fell in love with you. What makes you think a marriage will change that?

[Warren, stop lying to yourself. You’re only holding

her back. Divorce her while you still can.

I stared at the screen for a few seconds

Then Rosa called me downstairs

She’d made mango coconut pudding

The cool, silky dessert melted in my mouth, filled with

sweet mango and creamy coconut

It was so good that even if Cole had dropped dead

beside me, I probably wouldn’t have noticed

The moment Warren stepped out of the shower, he reached for his phone

The screen was dark

Before getting into the shower, he’d deliberately set

his screen to never turn off

A satisfied smile tugged at his lips

If Cole was bold enough to send a message like that

then Warren was more than happy to let Cora see it

He had no intention of replying anyway

He unlocked his phone. Then he froze

Under Cole’s arrogant text, a new reply had appeared –just a few words

[We’re going to bed. Don’t bother us.
