I let out a cold laugh and pushed him away. “At the

Lia finally came back to her reality. She stared at me

possibly be Mr. Hewitt’s wife…”
I ignored her. Instead, I turned to face everyone in the hallway. My voice remained calm.
“Let me introduce myself. My name is Janessa Swain.
The board of directors has just appointed me as the
new president of the group. Starting today, I’ll be fully
responsible for the operations and management of the headquarters.”
The moment I finished speaking, the entire hallway exploded.
“What? She’s not only Mr. Hewitt’s wife, but also our new president?”
