A Drawing Sent My Babies to Their Graves Chapter 07

A Drawing Sent My Babies to Their Graves Chapter 07

With the Williams family watching in sheer terror, I‘ didn’t hesitate for a single second. I pressed play.

Directly behind the stage, the massive LED screen originally meant to display the Williams Group’s grand corporate vision–instantly flared to life!

Every image, every piece of ironclad evidence, dropped like a bombshell right in the middle of Los Angeles high society!

The first document to flash on the big screen was a classified medical file. In the top right corner was a glaring headshot of Billy.

“Look closely!” I gripped the microphone, my voice echoing through the massive ballroom. “The person you all call a naturally psychic, ten–year–old blind prophet… Billy is actually a fully grown, thirty–year- old man with severe dwarfism!”

The entire room gasped.

Every single pair of eyes snapped to the edge of the stage, boring into Billy, who barely reached a normal adult’s waist.

Billy panicked. Those eyes of his, which he usually kept vacant and “blind,” were now darting around in sheer terror as he desperately tried to hide behind Laura’s dress.

“He’s not blind at all!” I pointed at the medical report on the screen confirming his perfect 20/20 vision, mercilessly tearing down their sick facade. “He doesn‘ even need glasses when he watches his twisted little videos!”

Immediately after, the screen flashed again.

The second document was Jake Williams’s adoption certificate!

“As for my wonderful husband, Jake,” I sneered, “he isn’t a biological son of the Williams family at all! He’s just an adopted pawn, brought in to act as a smokescreen and a breeding stud for his brother!”

“Because no woman with good genetics would ever willingly marry a deformed monster. So, they

adopted Jake to con a woman into giving them perfect offspring. And that woman was me.”

The audience exploded into pure chaos.

The reporters‘ camera flashes practically blinded the stage.

George let out a furious, desperate roar. “Turn it off! Smash the screen! Pull the plug!”

Security guards rushed the stage, only to find the power box had already been electronically locked out by the elite hackers I’d paid a fortune to hire.

“Don’t rush. The best part is yet to come.” I hit the button on the remote again.

The screen shifted to the secret chorionic villus DNA testing reports from my first two pregnancies. Along with them came a bone–chilling audio recording.

It was a conversation between Billy and the doctor from that underground clinic:

“Did you test it?”

“Yes, sir, we tested it. It is indeed Jake’s child,”

“Abort it! We want my child! Why should Jake’s kid ·

inherit the Williams family fortune?!”

The ballroom erupted into an absolute uproar!

Several socialites clamped their hands over their mouths in shock, looking physically ill.

“Did you hear that?” My eyes were red–rimmed with rage. “Every time I got pregnant, they would have Billy secretly test the DNA. If the baby was Jake’s, Billy would draw a black bird, claiming the child was a bad omen–a demon!”

“But if the test proved the baby was Billy’s, he would draw a red flower!”

“The first two babies they brutally murdered were Jake’s! And the third one…” I took a deep breath and pressed the very last button on the remote.

Suddenly, crystal–clear surveillance footage began playing on the massive screen.

The location was my bedroom.

In the footage, Jake walked into the room holding a glass of warm milk and watched me drink it. A few minutes later, I passed out completely.

Then, the bedroom door was pushed open.

Billy, the thirty–year–old man, slithered onto my bed like a repulsive reptile.

And my husband, Jake–the man who constantly swore he loved me—just stood right outside the room and coldly pulled the door shut!

Down in the audience, someone finally lost it and audibly dry–heaved.

“This is sickening! They’re a pack of animals!”

“This is the Williams family? A house full of absolute freaks!”

“Call the cops! Call 911 and get these monsters locked up!”

Camera flashes strobed like mad, every single lens locking onto the shivering demons grouped on the stage.

“No! This isn’t real! It’s a deepfake!” Laura completely broke down, collapsing to the floor and clutching her head as she screamed like a lunatic.

George’s eyes rolled into the back of his head. He clutched his chest tight and slumped directly onto the hardwood stage.

Down on the street outside the hotel, the sharp, piercing wail of police sirens erupted without warning.

“Don’t worry, everyone. I already called the cops for you,” I said, looking down at the family with pure contempt.

Bang!

The heavy ballroom doors were kicked open by heavily armed police officers.

“Freeze! Nobody move!”

Over a dozen officers rushed the stage, snapping cold steel handcuffs mercilessly onto George, Laura, and Billy, who had literally pissed his pants in terror.

False imprisonment, aggravated assault, practicing medicine without a license, and rape. The laundry list

of charges was more than enough to ensure these monsters would rot in a cell for the rest of their miserable lives.

Just as the cops were hauling them out, Jake’s knees gave out. He dropped heavily to the floor right in front of me.

“Daisy! I’m begging you! Forgive me!”

Jake sobbed uncontrollably, his face a mess of snot and tears. There wasn’t a trace left of the devoted, powerful CEO he’d pretended to be.

“I didn’t have a choice! They adopted me; they gave me everything! If I didn’t play along, they would have thrown me out on the street!”

“I was just trying to repay my debt to them, Daisy truly love you!”

Repay his debt?

Staring at his sickeningly pathetic face, I kicked him ruthlessly right in the chest!

“Get the hell away from me. Don’t touch me with your filthy hands.” I pulled a pre–prepared divorce

agreement out of my clutch and smacked it hard against his face. “Sign it. You’re leaving with absolutely nothing.”

“Otherwise, I still have the evidence of your corporate financial fraud. You can choose to go to prison and

have a lovely family reunion with your freakish adoptive parents.”

Jake shook violently from head to toe, Ultimately, broken and completely defeated, he signed his name on the dotted line.

The twisted nightmare was finally over.

Down in the hotel’s underground parking garage, someone blocked my path.

It was my brother, Nick.

During the banquet, he had seen the bank transfer records flash on the screen–the millions in bribes he

had gladly pocketed from George. Now, his reputation was completely destroyed, and he was blacklisted by his entire social circle.

“Daisy, I’m your brother! You can’t be this cold- blooded,” Nick whined, shamelessly trying to grab my hand.

I dodged him in absolute disgust. “From this day forward, I don’t have a brother. If you ever dare to

show your face in front of me again, I promise you, your ending will be far worse than the Williams family’s.”

Three days later.

I stood at the airport in a comfortable, breezy trench coat and sunglasses, holding a first–class ticket to Paris.

Sitting in my bank accounts were the tens of millions of dollars I had wrung out of Jake.

I took a deep, long breath of free air.

There was no more sickening scheming whispering in my ears. There were no more repulsive drawings of black birds.

Goodbye, hell.

Hello, new life.

THE END
