The Alpha’s Forgotten Daughter Chapter 06
I stared at Ethan’s demand and promptly blacklisted his number.
Then I logged into the portal and confirmed my status at United Wolf Packs Alpha Academy: Enrolled.
I finished my ribs, took a hot shower, cracked open my thick textbook, and prepped for the next lecture.
My world had order. It had life.
But two thousand miles away, the Silver Moon Pack had erupted into chaos.
I hadn’t quit the high school class group, even though I’d muted the family chat.
A few classmates attending local colleges were buzzing with gossip.
[Guys, did you hear? Maya Reed passed out during orientation. Apparently no one’s been doing her laundry or bringing her food. She literally didn’t even know where the dining hall was. Low blood sugar or something.]

I set down my pen, voice even. “Mrs. Davis, did you tell them?”
“They went through the submission logs and realized you changed your applications behind their backs!”
Mrs. Davis sucked in a breath and lowered her voice.
“Claire, your father was absolutely raging in my office today. Ethan was screaming–he threatened to file a missing person report with the police if you don’t come home!”
“United Wolf Packs Alpha Academy,” I said flatly.
“I hid the acceptance letter myself.”
Dead silence swallowed the other end of the line.
A beat later, a loud crash echoed through the

speaker, followed by Ethan’s roar, “United Wolf Packs Alpha Academy?! That’s impossible! How the hell did she get in?! And who’s paying for it?!”
Right on the heels of that impotent howl, a text from an unknown number forced its way onto my screen.
[Claire Reed, you’ve got some real nerve. Get your ass back to Omega Academy and do your job. Maya needs you. Don’t make me fly out to Moonlight City. You won’t like what happens if I do.]
