My Ex’s Stepfather Became My Addiction Chapter 08
Silas stood in the doorway.Â
He didn’t waste a single word. Striding over the mess on the floor, he grabbed Caleb by the back of his collar and slammed him onto the marble vanity as if he were tossing out trash.Â
The mirror shattered on impact, glass shards raining down like hail.Â
“Dad! What the hell…” Caleb screamed in terror, but before he could even see who it was, a heavy fist smashed into his jaw.Â
That punch carried a thunderous rage. Caleb was knocked senseless instantly, spitting out a mouthful of blood and foam as he collapsed to the floor like a pile of mud.Â
shrank into the corner, disheveled and trembling, tears blurring my vision.Â
Silas unbuttoned his suit jacket and planted a foot on Caleb’s chest. The limited–edition handmade leather shoe crushed down on his ribs, emitting a sickening crack that made teeth ache.Â
“I warned you.” His voice was as low as if it came from the abyss, laced with a chilling, murderous intent. “She is my woman. If you dare touch a single hair on her head, I will break you.”Â
Caleb clutched his deformed jaw, looking at his stepfather in disbelief. “Are you serious? For this… this slut?”Â
Silas’s face was expressionless; he didn’t even bother to answer. He simply increased the pressure under his foot until Caleb let out a squeal like a slaughtered pig.Â
“Starting tomorrow, don’t let me see you in New York again. Or next time, it won’t just be your jaw that breaks.”Â
Having dealt with the garbage, he turned around, the violence in his eyes instantly melting into endless pain and pity.Â
He took off his suit jacket, still warm from his body, strode over, wrapped my trembling form tightly within it, and scooped me up into his arms.Â
“It’s over, Elena. I’m here.”Â
That was the news I woke up to the next day: Caleb had been shipped off to the Greenland branch overnight and stripped of all inheritance rights to the group.Â
We were in Silas’s penthouse apartment. Outside the massive floor–to–ceiling windows lay the bustling morning view of Manhattan.Â
was curled up on a dark grey velvet sofa, wearing only his oversized white shirt, the collar open to reveal the hickeys left on my collarbone from last night.Â
“Why go this far?” I asked softly. “He’s your stepson.”Â
“He’s an animal.” Silas walked over, holding a glass of warm water and a courier box–my inhibitors, which I had been waiting for for three long days.Â
He took out the pill bottle and placed it on the table, but didn’t hand it to me.Â
“The meds are here,” he said, looking at me with deep intensity. “You can take them, and we go back to how things were.”Â
I looked at that bottle of white pills, the shackles that turned me back into a “normal person.” Then I looked at the man in front of me, the source of my loss of control and my depravity, yet also the one who made me feel cherished for the first time.Â
“Or…”Â
silas went down on one knee before me, took my hand, and nuzzled it against his cheek.Â
“Or, you throw them away. Let me be your medicine.”Â
My heart skipped a beat. “Silas, I’m sick. I’m a monster who can’t live without a man… If I stop the meds, I’ll become a slut who only knows how to beg for sex…”Â
“Perfect.” He cut me off, kissing my palm, his eyes burning with a fervent madness. “I’m sick too. My sickness is called ‘Elena Addiction.‘ Only you can cure it.”Â
Tears burst from my eyes. I looked at that cold white bottle, the cage that had imprisoned me for over a decade, my only camouflage as a “normal person.”Â
But under Silas’s burning gaze, that camouflage seemed so pale and weak.Â
Screw being normal. Screw restraint. I would rather go completely mad for this man than go back to being that pitiful creature swallowing pills.Â
grabbed the bottle and, without a second thought, hurled it viciously into the trash can nearby.Â
*Thud.* The sound of shackles hitting the ground.Â
Silas revealed the most gentle, yet wicked smile I had ever seen.Â
Good girl.”Â
He suddenly pressed me back onto the sofa, his large hand expertly sliding under the hem of the shirt, effortlessly finding the place that was already wet for him.Â
“Since the medicine is gone, it’s time to start today’s ‘treatment.“”Â
He didn’t bother with foreplay like usual. Instead, he eagerly undid his belt, releasing the enormous length that was already hard and angry.Â
“Look at me, Elena,” he commanded, guiding that ferocious tip against my entrance. “Tell me, who do you need?”Â
“Need you… Silas… give it to me…” I wrapped my arms around his neck, actively lifting my hips to meet him.Â
He thrust forward, filling me completely without reservation.Â
“Ah–“*Â
The feeling of fullness in that instant numbed my scalp, as if my soul were leaving my body. Unlike any time before, there was no fear, no hesitation, only two bodies fitting perfectly together in a frantic entanglement.Â
He ravaged me from the inside, every thrust going to the absolute deepest point, as if branding his name onto my womb.Â
“For the rest of your life, don’t even think about quitting this medicine,” he growled in my ear, accompanying another bone–deep thrust.Â
We kissed in the morning sunlight, drowning in each other’s sweat.Â
I knew I would never need that cold pill bottle again. Because I had found the only, and most powerful, antidote in this world.Â
And this prescription was for life.Â
THE END
