A Genius Once Fell into the Don’s Orbit Chapter 10

A Genius Once Fell into the Don’s Orbit Chapter 10

Enzo’s POV

Inside the Ricci family headquarters, I gripped my phone so tightly that my knuckles turned white.

I stared at the video on the screen.

I watched Alessia laughing as she insulted me, calling me a cripple.

At that moment, I felt a heavy pressure crushing my chest.

I could barely breathe.

A figure appeared in my mind.

Valentina gently massaging my leg.

Holding my hand while watching movies.

Scooping ice cream and feeding it to me,

Waiting every day for me to come home from work.

My mind felt like it had exploded.

I had actually hurt my own wife for a woman like that.

I felt the world spinning around me.

The strategist standing beside me didn’t even dare to breathe loudly.

Then someone tried to rush inside.

It was Alessia.

She cried desperately.

“Enzo, everything online is fake. You have to believe me.”

The guards blocked her outside.

Everyone had seen Alessia’s video.

No one would allow a woman like that to insult their boss.

I slowly raised my head, my voice cold and ruthless.

“The Hawthorne family.”

“Good.”

“Cancel every cooperation.”

“Stop all financial support.”

“Destroy Alessia’s career.”

“Yes,”

The strategist nodded and immediately began contacting everyone involved.

I leaned back helplessly,

The housekeeper’s accusations online kept replaying in my mind.

My wife had lived such a miserable life before,

She was the true daughter of the Hawthorne family.

Yet she had lived in the maid’s room.

I wanted to slap myself.

I desperately wanted to see Valentina.

I boarded my private jet and rushed to Oxford again.

This time…

I saw her.

I had never seen her shine so brightly.

She walked out of the laboratory, just about to enjoy the sunlight.

Then she saw me.

She didn’t know what had happened online.

She simply walked toward me helplessly,

“What are you doing here?”

“Valentina…”

“I miss you.”

She immediately took several steps back.

“No.”

“Enzo, we’re divorced.”

“The

person you should miss is Alessia,”

“I could never be with her.”

“Not before.”

“Not now.”

“I only love you, Tina.”

“What?”

“Did you take something wrong, Enzo?”

“I told you before.”

“I hope we never see each other again.”

I stood there like a defeated soldier.

“Tina, I know everything now.”

“I know how the Hawthorne family treated you.”

“I know everything Alessia did.”

“I was deceived by them before.”

“But it won’t happen again.”

“I’ll make the Hawthorne family go bankrupt.”

“I’ll give everything to you, okay?”

She looked at me sideways,

As if she couldn’t understand what kind of madness had

taken over me.

I continued desperately.

“Tina, we were happy.”

“I thought you only divorced me because you were angry”

“I missed you all this time.”

“Alessia and I…”

“Nothing ever happened between us.”

“I’m clean.”

“Please believe me.”

She looked at me calmly.

“You and Alessia having nothing to do with each other…”

“What does that have to do with me?”

“Enzo, we’re divorced.”

“We can get remarried.”

“Please”

“Let’s start over.”

“I swear.”

“I’ll only treat you well from now on.”

I desperately wanted an answer,

But she couldn’t give me the one I wanted.

“Don’t say anything else, Enzo,”

“I don’t love you anymore.”

“I won’t marry you again.”

“Leave.”

My heart felt like someone had ripped it out.

My entire body trembled as I looked at her.

Then I realized…

I was crying.

I swore I had never cried before.

Not even when the enemy family’s scheme caused my accident and destroyed my leg.

She stared at me in disbelief.

“What are you doing, Enzo?”

“Look at yourself.”

Before she could say anything else, a hand suddenly grabbed her,

She fell lightly into someone’s arms,

And she didn’t resist.

A stranger looked at me angrily.

“What are you doing here?”

“Please stop harassing my girlfriend.”

Later, I investigated him.

Samuel Hartwell.

A man from a powerful family.

A family that could stand alongside the Ricci family.

I looked at Valentina desperately.

“Tina…”

“He’s lying, right?”

“You’re not his girlfriend, are you?”

She turned around.

Right in front of me, she kissed that man,

“Yes,”

“He’s my boyfriend.”

“So stop bothering me.”

“Enzo, let’s end this peacefully,”

Samuel held her and walked away,

Leaving me alone,
