He Flaunted His Mistress, Now He’s Going Mad Begging After Chapter 10

He Flaunted His Mistress, Now He’s Going Mad Begging After Chapter 10

Tristan and I chose a lawn chapel by the sea for our wedding.

No extravagant display, just our closest family and dearest friends.

The sea breeze lifted the white veil, flowers lined the aisle.

Tristan stood at the end of the red carpet in his suit, his eyes full of tenderness.

My friend adjusted my veil and said with a soft laugh, Harriet, you look beautiful today.”

I looked at myself in the mirror, my face relaxed and peaceful.

Those humiliating tattoos carved into my skin had long been completely removed by laser.

Those nights of crying and despair had also drifted away with the storms of Shadow City.

was no longer the Harriet who lived dependent on Henry.

I was myself, a bride cherished and treasured.

The wedding march began to play, and Tristan reached out to take my hand.

Just as we were exchanging rings, I heard whispers behind us.

“Did you hear? Briar is dead!”

“Yeah, after Henry kicked her out, she still wouldn’t give up. She secretly took the last bit of liquid assets from the Windsor Group, which pushed them into complete bankruptcy. How could Henry let that go?”

“I heard after Henry figured everything out, he went drazy looking for her. They got into a fight, and Henry killed her with his own hands… Now he’s been sentenced to life in prison. He’ll spend the rest of his life behind bars.”

What a tragedy. Briar was rotten to the core from the start. She got what she deserved in the end.”

My fingers paused slightly, then Tristan squeezed them tightly.

He looked down at me, his eyes full of concern and comfort.

He didn’t ask questions or probe further, just gently pulled me into his arms. “It’s all in the past. From How on, you have me.”

leaned against his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.

felt no hatred, no resentment, not even a hint of satisfaction—just calm indifference.

Briar had schemed and plotted, using lies and

manipulation to gain temporary glory, only to be destroyed by her own greed and cruelty.

She brought it on herself.

And Henry, blinded by his arrogance, had pushed me

into hell with his own hands. Spending the rest of his life in prison was what he deserved.

Their love–hate entanglement, their passionate drama–none of it had anything to do with me anymore.

gently raised my arms and hugged Tristan back.

The priest’s voice rang out.

I looked at the man before me with his warm smile and said “I do.”

As his kiss landed, sunlight broke through the clouds and fell on us, so warm it brought tears to my eyes.

The old me had cried, struggled, despaired, fought, and even had moments where I wanted to take everyone down with me.

But now I finally understood.

True rebirth was never about revenge or resentment, but about letting go of all the pain and walking toward your own light.

Henry and Briar had become my past, completely.

And my future was–Tristan.

I smiled and stood on my toes to kiss him, and he bent down to hold me close.

In that moment, I was finally certain–I had found happiness that was completely my own.

THE END
